Below is a May 1917 article which seems to be related to the visit that is the subject of these pictures and includes more on some of names but the spellings differ: Col Jose Marti y Zayas Bazan (son of the Jose Marti of Cuban independence), Ernesto M. Tavio y Espinosa, Ensign Jose Vander gutch, Lt. Col. Edmund Wittenmayer, Lt. Commander Carlton Kear (US Navy), Lt. Col J. M. Lazama, Alberto de Carricarte y Valazques, the Dr. and his wife (her name not given).
