I have a photo of my sister sitting on the steps of one of these homes. It’s where my aunt lived, in Hillcrest Heights, and they had just been to church for their first communion. My parents built a house in Hillcrest Heights in 1958-59? it was a huge home at the time, but with 7 kids, they needed every inch.
The homes in the Ads don’t show how really big those duplexes were either. They were really large homes with big basements. Lots of great memories in those neighborhoods.
