Old school Bullets fans will remember this post-Bel Biv Devoe jam from the ’94-’95 season … You Da Man!
The Bullets were 21-61 that year. Ugh.

BULLETS 4IFE!
Loved these squads — how we were so awful with Howard and Webber only the DC area sports Gods know.
But, I have one beef — Jim McIlvaine was NOT Da’ Man!
Ben Wallace was — and what did we do?!?! We let him go where he would go on to be a multiple NBA Defensive Player of the year. As a young teen I could see Ben Wallace was raw and was going to be a star. I used to tell my dad, “He’s a beast!” My dad said I should have been the Bullets GM.
Also, a young ‘Sheed! He was slamming on fools all year, his rookie campaign. This was before all he did was chuck 3s.
Shout to to composer of the track — Mozie fam!
Oops — a next season or two version is the real raw with ‘Sheed and Robert Pack. Pack also slammed on folks hard!
Hey thanks for the memories that was a very special group of guys. And the jingle we produced was a hit. Also look out for my book memoir coming this summer as I tell my story of being a bullets ballboy traveling with them on road games and the one on ones against the best players ever durning the 1980’s ‘Beyond The Yellow Tape’

Don’t forget the other great Bullets’ song: Bullets Fever by Nils Lofgren:

There’s another version where the broadcasters get name-checked, including…Charlie Slowes.
