  1. The page lists 1638 17th St. NW, “newly renovated”, for $45/mo. In 2003, also newly renovated, it was $1500.

  2. In the early 1980s, I worked for a business located on the top floor of the Dupont Circle building. The office overlooked Dupont Circle and it had a fireplace in the room. I always thought it must have been a fabulous apartment in the past. The old ad confirms what I imagined….
