I thought these might be interesting. These photos were taken by my grandparents who visited the DC area on their honeymoon in 1925. I am not sure of the location of the photo of the Capitol. For Mount Vernon, the Mansion balustrades and 19th Century south porch are now gone (since the Mansion has been restored to its 1799 appearance). The green house depicted was constructed in the 19th century is also now gone, replaced with a replica/restoration of George Washington’s green house (adjoining the Upper Garden). The structure depicted on the East Lawn also no longer exists.
