Any idea where this photo was taken? Our alleys no longer look like this, but at one point, many people used to live in D.C. alleys. This was tenement housing in Washington.

This take me back to the good old days. And I wasn’t even around then.
The license plate on the car reads T31-145. That may help.
This looks a lot like the parking and back porch area behind the row houses on 25th St NW, in the block between L and M. I doubt this is the exact place but those upper and lower porches look very like what I see on this block.
A LOT of this stuff in the cities was replaced with PJs..but, then, THEY went downhill overnight!
