Look at this old classified advertisement from The Washington Post from exactly 25 years ago. This was printed on Friday, October 21st, 1988 and if you were the one who purchased one of these homes, you probably are sitting pretty right now. Although, interest rates were somewhere between eight and nine percent.
i am curious what median incomes were 25 years ago
I am not sure what median was but I was making about 1/4 (30,000) of what I made 17 years later and I was a better than median at the time.
