If the description off of the DC property database is to be believed, the building was built in 1895. Odd that a ten year old building required extensive renovation, perhaps Mr Catto is exaggerating a bit, perhaps there was a fire….
Any ideas what was done with the ballroom and other large common rooms – building is now a condo.
I wish my apartment building had a Billiard Room and Cozy Buffet.
