This photo was taken in October 1957. Just months later, Eisenhower was in front of the cameras for another milestone — the dedication of NBC’s new $4 million Washington studio, where he became the first president ever recorded on color videotape.

    The photos published here are the first, and only, I have ever seen of the Presidential Limousine – Bubble Top Parade Car. Has any reader of these pages any idea what the future of this particular vehicle became? Does it still exist, perhaps in a private collection?
