Unearthing a 1909 Map of the Palisades During a Birthday Celebration

Mrs. Ghost, Ghost Baby and I spent a nice Saturday afternoon celebrating a birthday at a lovely home in the Palisades. We found an old 1909 map of the area. Check out the results and the source of the map in our blog post!

Mrs. Ghost, Ghost Baby, and I spent a nice Saturday afternoon celebrating a birthday at a lovely home in the Palisades. The two parents of the young birthday child (and GoDCers) have a great home with the former Glen Echo Electric Railway right-of-way in their back yard. We wanted to do a little digging to see if we could find old maps of the area. Below is what we dug up from 1909.
