Video: Teddy Roosevelt Leaving the White House, Going For a Walk

Mark this down as something you’ll never see today. The President is just walking out of the White House grounds … alone. Let’s be honest, any guy that takes a bullet in his chest and STILL gives a speech can kick anyone’s ass. He casually strolls south onto what appears to be E St.

Here’s another photo of the 26th President of the United States. It was taken in 1885, ironically, in New York City.

The one below is probably the most iconic image of Teddy. This is his official White House portrait done by John Singer Sargent, which hangs in the East Room of the Executive Mansion.
