What a great shot. I only wish we knew this guy’s name, where he lived, what he did and what happened to him. He was a taxi driver in Washington around 1935 when this photograph was taken.

His name is Joe…Joe Schmoe and today he drives a Uber vehicle.
I see it says Potomac but in the e-mail I could also see part of a word, DIA I’m thinking Diamond cab company. My uncle drove a Diamond Cab in DC I do remember handles like that on cars too. We had one.
