I lived in Glover Park as a young kid oin the 1960’s and have many fond memories of the neighborhood. I was baptized at St. Lukes Methodist, first barber haircut aling Wisconsin Ave,sloppy joes at People’s Drugstore, the doorman dressed in green at Calvert House and Christmas trees for sale in what was once a lawn along Wisconsin Avenue once owned by St Lukes, now condominiums. What a great place then and now.
