Welcome to GoDC 3.0 … The New Site is Live!

After a fair bit of work, we’re psyched to show off our new slick design. Hopefully you like it! And yes, we are now soliciting more ads and sponsorships, because the site doesn’t pay for itself, and it ain’t cheap. If you find these ads to be intrusive, please let us know and we’ll tone them down a bit. You can email any concerns to [email protected].

Happy Friday!

Photo shows a man and a boy in summer straw hats happily displaying some unidentifiable papers on F Street, with the Treasury and a new electric hooded arc streetlight in the background. One of a series of scenes near Painter's office at 14th and E streets, this picture bears the hallmarks of the new "snapshot" style now made possible by the invention of the quick, hand-held Kodak: natural smiles and the movement of the ladies under the umbrella.

The ads I don’t mind (I don’t have adblock). But the floating, non-cancelable ‘social’ vertical bar on the left is a killer.

The social bar is kicking my butt! I love this site and have for many months but the floating bar makes it so you can’t properly preview the articles.
