Lee Ying, who operates a little cigar making shop almost under the dome of the Capitol. He is one of the very few Chinese cigar makers in the country and the only one in the Capitol city. Lee Ying works as many hours a day as a laundryman and literally turns out bales of cigars. His shop is at 325 Penna. Ave. (May 26th, 1920)
Tom founded Ghosts of DC on January 4th, 2012 as a blog to uncover the lost and untold history of Washington, D.C. He has lived in the city for over a decade and loves exploring every corner of the District. He lives in Columbia Heights with Mrs. Ghost and Ghost Dog.
